Birkenstock’s are a staple in many people’s wardrobes since they were introduced to the American market in 1966. Originally from Germany, the master cobbler Johann Adam Birkenstock was making shoes as early as 1774! Known for their excellent arch support and expertly-crafted soles, the shoes have stood the test of time and are still well made to this day in timeless style. Given Seattle has taken an early dip into freezing temperatures this month, we have our eye on these cozy new additions to the classic Birkenstock Arizona collection - a fuzzy, teddy version! These would make an excellent companion to winter’s El Nino arrival.
